Shinhodaka-no-yu is a simple structure, without roof or enclosure, it has a dressing room on the bank of a river. It offers magnificent views of the northern Alps. Mt. Yarigatake and Mt. Nishihodaka. The stunning views are accompanied by the sound of the powerful river.

Shinhodaka Ropeway
Shinhodaka Ropeway is a 3,200-meter long ropeway between Shinhodaka Onsen and Nishihodaka-guchi. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking scenery in every season at a height of 2,156 meters from inside the gondola on the 20 minute ride.

Norikura Skyline
Norikura Skyline
Mt. Norikura is located at the southern end of the North Alps and takes its name from the saddle of a horse it resembles. There are 23 peaks, 7 lakes and 8 plains. Norikura Skyline is a mountain roadway created at a height of 2,702 meters. This roadway is the highest passable road in all of Japan. Visitors can take in the beautiful scenery of the Northern Alps during the drive each season.
