Usuzumi Zakura Early to mid April (Motosu City)
Usuzumi Sakura in Motosu city is said to have been planted in 487. Usuzumi means light gray. The name was given to this tree because though the color of the bud is pink after the flower blooms, it changes from white to light gray.
